The people treat their guests really well and give a boisterous welcome to the tourists every time they arrive. A visit to Tonga cannot be wrapped up only with visiting the islands. Tourists visiting Tonga can also try their endurance by going hiking through the Pacific rain forests and the crater lakes. If that’s not enough to get one’s adrenalin pumping, the more daring types can get very near to some of the islands’ volcanoes which are still active. One can also see the wrecked ships, which have been there for decades, which have now become major tourist attractions.

If you are fortunate enough to arrive in Tonga on one of the local people’s feast days you will be offered a drink called kava which is an indigenous drink, famous in Tonga. Exploring under water canyons and seaside cliffs or being a spectator at one of the local rugby matches can also be a part of a tourist’s to-do list. :)
